My background spans emergency medicine, cognitive neuroscience, and modern technology—giving me a unique perspective on how AI can serve humanity in high-stakes situations.
As a paramedic, I learned that split-second decisions matter. As a data scientist, I learned how to extract meaning from complexity. As a leader, I learned how to translate both into actionable solutions.

A Concrete Example: EMS AI Triage System
The Problem
Emergency medical personnel often face overwhelming situations with limited information. They need to make rapid, life-or-death decisions while managing complex clinical data and patient narratives.
Traditional approaches either oversimplify the situation or overwhelm the responder with too much information. Neither serves the patient or the provider well.
The AI Solution
I built an AI system that gives first responders access to multi-functional tools—the ability to instantly analyze vital signs, interpret patient narratives, and identify risk patterns that would normally require specialized expertise.
This project showcases my ability to identify technical gaps, design accessible solutions, and bridge the divide between complex problems and the people who need to solve them.
